If there is a drug that decreases hepatic gluconeogenesis, would it only help with patients with Diabetes Type 2? Or would it also help with paients with Type 1 diabetes? If so or so not, can you explain how? I know Type 2 can be helped with this, but I’m not sure about Type 1. Thanks
I know that carbohydrate will be converted to glycogen (sugar) and stored in body. For this reason, if I eat a lot of carbohydrate, ie. the food groups at the base of Pyramid Food Guide, will I possibly increase sugar for myself? ANd consequently, will I have diabetes because of high-carb diet?
: I eat a lot of high-sugar fruits too though, eg, grapes, tangerine, pears, apple. My diet is low around 1,200-1,500 calorie and my eating habit is irregular.
And if I exercise regularly, will my sugar decrease due to burning of energy for use during exercise?
I just got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes over the summer. in all my family makes around 40,000 a year with us being a family of four. But now that we have new extra bills such as test strips and medication we are worried about college. i was wondering if pell grants consider medical conditions when evaluating.
My question is : Is Type 1 diabetes hereditary? Will it be passed on to future generations?
